1. What cookies and browser storage are

A cookie is a small text file saved to your browser when you visit a site. Browser storage (localStorage) keeps data in a similar way but is not sent to the server automatically. This text explains how this site uses both.

2. What this site uses

This site uses no advertising and no profiling cookies. Analytics cookies are used only with your consent. What is in use:

  • Language preference — stored in your browser's localStorage under the name `vc-lang`, remembering the language you chose (EN / TR / IT). It is not sent to the server and we do not hold it. Clearing your browser's site data removes it.
  • Strictly necessary technical cookies — session cookies the hosting infrastructure may use for security and load balancing.
  • Analytics (Google Analytics 4) — runs only if you click "Accept" in the cookie banner. Without your consent no analytics cookie is set and no request is sent to Google. See section 3.
  • Your cookie choice — stored in your browser's localStorage under the name `vc-consent`, so that we do not ask you again on every visit. It records only "accepted" or "rejected" and the date. It is not sent to the server and is kept for 6 months; after that we ask again.

3. Analytics: Google Analytics 4

With your consent we use Google Analytics 4, a web analytics service provided by Google Ireland Limited (Gordon House, Barrow Street, Dublin 4, Ireland), to understand in aggregate how the site is used: how many people visit, which pages they view, how they arrive (for example from a search engine or a link), from which country and on what type of device. We use these statistics only to improve the site's content and how it works.

We have switched off Google's advertising features, Google signals and the collection of granular location and device data. Analytics data is not used to show you advertising, and we do not combine it with other data we hold, such as enquiries sent through the contact form.

Cookies set after you accept:

  • `_ga` — distinguishes visitors by giving your browser a random identifier. Duration: up to 6 months; deleted when your consent expires or when you withdraw it. First-party cookie set by Google Analytics.
  • `_ga_PLXDLPVBWP` — keeps the state of your visit (for example when it started and how many visits there have been). Duration: up to 6 months; deleted when your consent expires or when you withdraw it. First-party cookie set by Google Analytics.

Data processed: the random cookie identifier; pages visited, date, time and length of the visit, and the page you came from; browser, operating system and device type; browser language; approximate location (country and region) derived from your IP address. For visitors in the European Union, Google uses the IP address only to derive this approximate location and then discards it; the IP address is not logged or stored.

Retention: in Google Analytics, user-level and event-level data is deleted automatically after 2 months. Aggregate reports, which do not identify anyone, may be kept longer.

Provider and transfers: Google Ireland Limited processes the data on our behalf, as our processor, under Google's data processing terms. The data may also be processed by Google LLC in the United States. Such transfers rely on the European Commission's adequacy decision on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework (Implementing Decision (EU) 2023/1795 of 10 July 2023), in which Google LLC participates, and, where that framework does not apply, on standard contractual clauses.

Legal basis: your consent — under Article 122 of the Italian Personal Data Protection Code (Legislative Decree 196/2003) for storing and reading the cookies, and under Article 6(1)(a) GDPR for the subsequent processing of the data.

How to give, refuse or withdraw consent: on your first visit a banner appears. "Accept" gives consent to analytics; "Reject", or closing the banner with the X, refuses it. Continuing to browse or scrolling the page does not count as consent. If you refuse, no analytics cookie is set and no request is sent to Google, and we will not show the banner again for 6 months unless the cookies we use change significantly. You can change your choice at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page; withdrawal does not affect processing carried out before it. When you withdraw consent, the analytics cookies are deleted from your browser.

4. Third-party resources

The site's typefaces are served from our own server. Visiting the site does not load any resources from third-party servers, so no data is sent to third parties for this purpose.

5. How to manage it

You can change your consent to analytics at any time through the "Cookie preferences" link at the bottom of every page.

You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. To remove the language preference, clear the site data; this does not break the site — the language simply returns to the default.

If you block strictly necessary technical cookies, parts of the site may not work as expected.

6. Changes

If the cookies and storage in use change, this text is updated and the date above is changed.
